Jada’s Priorities
Putting Students and Their Future First
As a mother and a former teacher, Jada understands what students need and what parents expect from their school system. That is why she approaches each decision with a simple principle. The focus must remain on students and their future, not on politics or distractions. During her time on the School Board, she has worked to restore stability, strengthen academic priorities, and reinforce responsibility and discipline in the classroom.
Jada will continue working to ensure that every student has the opportunity to learn in schools that challenge them, prepare them for real life, keep academics at the center, and reflect the values of the families who trust the district with their children.
Respecting Parents and Strengthening Trust
Jada ran for the School Board because she saw parents across the community being ignored and dismissed by district leadership. She stood with those families, spoke out alongside them, and refused to accept a system that shut them out of decisions affecting their children.
Since taking office, she has worked to ensure parents are a respected part of the conversation and have a real voice in the policies and decisions that shape their children’s education.
As a school board member, she expects transparency, honesty, and partnership from the school system and remains committed to strengthening the trust between the district and the families it serves.
Keeping Politics Out of the Classroom
Jada believes schools exist to educate children and prepare them for success in the real world, not to promote political agendas. Throughout her service, she has worked to keep the focus on reading, math, science, civics, and real academic and workforce preparation, rather than ideological initiatives that distract from student achievement.
There are some who would like to take the district back to the failed policies and priorities of the past. Jada is not willing to give up the successes that families fought for. She remains committed to ensuring that classrooms stay centered on learning and student achievement, and that our schools continue to reflect the values of the families they serve.
Student Safety First
Jada believes students learn best in schools where safety, respect, and discipline are expected and upheld. To her, a safe school is one where students understand boundaries, teachers are supported when they enforce standards, and leadership takes responsibility for the environment on every campus.
She understands that nothing matters more than protecting the children who are entrusted to our schools each day. Jada supports strong security practices and advanced safety tools that help keep students protected on campus and in transportation, and she remains committed to strengthening safeguards that give parents confidence and peace of mind that their children are safe.
Supporting Teachers Who Put Students First
Jada believes the school district has a duty to manage taxpayer dollars responsibly. She has supported fiscal discipline, clear priorities, and a commonsense distinction between what is necessary for students and what is simply spending without purpose.
She is prepared to continue making difficult but responsible decisions to ensure that resources are directed to classrooms, student achievement, and the overall good of the district, not spending that benefits a few at the expense of families and taxpayers across the community.
Protecting Taxpayers and Prioritizing Classrooms
Having spent nearly two decades in the classroom, Jada understands that teaching is a demanding profession that requires preparation, discipline, and personal responsibility. She believes teachers who exceed expectations, push their students to achieve, and lead with integrity deserve the full support of the school district.
That is why she has supported policies that recognize highly effective teachers and reward those who are willing to serve in the schools and programs where their skills and commitment make the greatest impact.
Jada believes strong teachers build strong classrooms. She is committed to ensuring that they have the tools, clear direction, professional flexibility, and support necessary to succeed, because when teachers excel, students succeed.
Protecting the Direction Voters Chose for Lee County Schools
Jada ran for the School Board because the voters of Lee County demanded a change in direction grounded in conservative principles, fiscal responsibility, respect for parents and taxpayers, and a dedicated focus on student achievement. Working together with fellow board members and the newly elected superintendent, she has helped move the district toward greater stability, accountability, and academic focus. She is ready to continue building on that foundation.
That progress is only one election away from reverting back to the failed liberal policies of the past. Jada is determined to protect these accomplishments, strengthen what is working, address what needs improvement, and ensure the school system is not pulled back to the policies and priorities that Lee County families rejected.
